On Wednesday night over 40 Uspanteco adults and children were present in the Uspanteco Center to hear Paul Kinney's presentation on evangelism. Paul, the Lutheran Bible Translator director in Guatemala and his family were in Las Pacayas to become better acquainted with what is happening in the Uspanteco Ministries.

Stan & Margie were very surprised at the attendance of so many people at the brief seminar.  Paul and Cristobol [interpreter into Uspanteco] presented very clearly what being a Christian really is and that Jesus wants all Christians to be sharing the Gospel with all. Paul pointed out that a study in the United States showed that 80% of all new Christians are a result of one on one evangelism.

Pastors and their families and other individuals listened attentively to the hour and half presentation.  Paul emphasized pre-evangelism, evangelism, and post-evangelism.

Paul also presented the plan of salvation to the group.  Cristobol did a very good job of interpreting and added
commentary that was relevant for the local churches.

Mario reading from Romans where is clearly outlined the plan of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Tammy and Josiah used soap bubbles and a clown's outfit to teach an object lesson to the preschoolers.
